Heronswood currently offers a program called Weed, Walk & Talk.

Weed, Walk & Talk

Volunteers can expect some hands on fun in the Garden and, either a presentation or a walk through the Garden chatting about what plants are along the way.

Weed, Walk, & Talk is hosted under the direction of co-founder, Dan Hinkley.

The WWT work days are free to volunteer. The hours are 9 AM to 3 PM.


Volunteers are expected to bring:

• their own gardening gloves.
• their preferred hand tool.
• a sack lunch.

Coffee, hot tea, and water are provided by Heronswood garden.
