Seasonal Plant sales and Garden Events are held four times a year in early Spring, Spring, Summer and Fall.

The posted dates for 2017 are:

Early Spring April 1
Spring May 13 & 14
Summer July 22
Fall September 16

Weed, Walk & Talk

Heronswood offers a volunteer program called Weed, Walk & Talk.

Volunteers can expect some hands on fun in the Garden and, either a presentation or a walk through the Garden chatting about what plants are along the way.

Weed, Walk & Talk is hosted under the direction of co-founder, Dan Hinkley.

The WWT work days are free to volunteer. The hours are 9 AM to 3 PM.

Volunteers are expected to bring:

• their own gardening gloves.
• their preferred hand tool.
• a sack lunch.

Coffee, hot tea, and water are provided by Heronswood garden.

The 2017 schedule for Weed, Walk, & Talk is:

• WWT Saturday, March 25
• WWT Wednesday, April 12
• WWT Saturday, April 22
• WWT Wednesday, May 10
• WWT Saturday, May 27
